Freeze Panes Function
Freeze Panes Usage –
Freeze panes to Lock rows and Columns.
Keep lock headings or columns of name or code wile scrolling another data of worksheet.
In the Large data of Excel file Row or Column data not showing in computer screen. When scroll data Headings do not visible. so they don’t understand what information is related to. We use this function to solve such problems. We can visible particular column or row at the time of scrolling large data.

Freeze the Selected Row –
Pick your Large Data File. In the following Image has taken large Data.
When Scrolling Data headings not appears.
We will freeze the Headings to see wile scrolling.
Freeze Panes Steps –
To Freeze Select third row.
Click the View Tab. Click Select Freeze Panes. Drop down list Appears. Select First option Freeze Panes.
View >> Freeze panes >> Freeze Panes
After Scrolling the Headings will Appear. Only Remaining data will scroll.
Freeze the Selected both Row & Column –
Freeze top 2 rows & First 3 columns. You can choose number of row & column.
Click cell bellow the Row and right cell to the column that is Cell D3. Freeze Area will selected cells upper area & left side area.
Click Tab View. Then Freeze panes & Freeze panes.
View >> Freeze panes >> Freeze Panes .
The top row 1, 2 and Left side column A,B,C of the cell will look frozen.
Freeze Displayed Top Row –
It usage the function to freeze the top row of data that appears on screen.
In the bellow scree Row number 15 will frozen.
View >> Freeze panes >> Freeze Top Row
Freeze Displayed First Left Column –
It usage the function to freeze the Right Side First column of data that appears on screen.
In the bellow screen Column C will frozen.
View >> Freeze panes >> Freeze First Column
Unfreeze Panes –
When it is freeze, you will see the option of unfreeze panes instead of freeze panes. To remove freeze panes click there.
View >> Freeze panes >> Unfreeze panes
Important about Freeze Panes –
Freeze panes does not affect in the print.
