New Upcoming MS Excel Formula & Function
Microsoft is adding 6 new advanced MS Excel functions. However, now these functions will be available in Office Insiders and Office 365 after a few months.By using these new functions, we will be able to easily manage the data automatically.Know which work will make it easier!
Microsoft is presenting the old function itself to us in an advanced way.
The special thing about all these functions is that in the first cell of the table, we have to apply the formula. After that Excel will bring all the data into the automatic whole table.
1. Filter Function – Filter Data Using Formula.
2. Sort Function – Sort a Range.
3. Sort By – Short base on corresponding Range .
4. Unique Function – To get Unique Value List.
5. Sequence Function – Generates Sequence of numbers from Multiple Cells
6. Rand-array Functions – Create Multiple Number from Cells.

1. 1. Filter Function – Filter Data Using Formula.
The filter option is to select the data that we want from the drop down by applying the filter to the header. Click this link to learn the filter. Now we will be able to use the filter option as a formula. We understand from the following example.
The image below has a sales report. Separate the sales report by filtering a single product. After making the report’s blank table, the filter formula in the first cell of the table will be applied automatically in the entire table. Cells will put a filter in F5 and if the criteria link to the cell of any product, the data will be filtered separately according to the criterion. Multiple filters will also be option. 2. Sort Function – Sort a Range.
The sort function can then be applied with the option. In the new sort function, you can do the sorting by applying a sort formula in a cell of different blanks.
In the image below, the data of column B is sorted by applying the formula in column D.
3. Sort By – Short base on corresponding Range .
Sort By is the extension of sort function. In the old sort & filter option, the option of expand selection is available while sorting the filter. The entire selection is sorted according to the criterion by the expanded selection. The option of this expanded selection has been converted to
Sort by this formula.

4. Unique Function – To get Unique Value List.
Unique Function is going to be the best. Because there was no specific formula to create a list of unique value from any list. With this function, Ignore duplicate values from the data, you can create a list of unique values only.
5. Sequence Function – Generates Sequence of numbers from Multiple Cells
You can generate sequence numbers by giving any range.
6. Rand-array Functions – Create Multiple Number from Cells.
Rand-Array is an extension of Rand-between function. The rand-between function has to be applied in a cell and copy paste in the required range. Rand-array Functions This function can show the random numbers in the entire range by inserting the range number in a cell.
